A panelled patchwork shirt in linen, inspired by the four elements of a landscape, sky (off-white), mountains (brown), water (deep blue), and grasslands (olive green). Story

Less of an anecdote, more of a process note. Idea behind this shirt was originally to bring together the earthy colours we have been loving lately, all in one shirt. The panels were made, first verticals, then horizontal.  The palette came first, the landscape and the embroidery followed- the suggestion of a mountain line, the movement of a fish, the quiet stance of a tree. 

In a way, it’s like pressing flowers in a book — except this time, it’s a shirt.
