Close up and up close: Sunflowers don’t stay still, an Artwork to Jacket
We painted a sunflower field to cut it into a jacket. A strange but lovely violence. The idea was to make art, cut it stitch it, wear it. From wall to wearable. A shift from frame to fabric, from static beauty to something that moves with you.
The process had it making pit stops across mediums and makers. Embroidery in the studio, pictures from our photographer's garden, the art and the graphics from the design team. . The jacket will carry not just art, but the making of it. Then the wearing of it
